Distributed Data Library (DDL)
The Distributed Data Library (DDL) is a library of routines for
solving oil reservoir simulations on distributed memory MIMD
machines. The library was developed by our group at the University of
Liverpool as part of the PARSIM project (European Eureka project E!638)
which ran from 1992 to 1996.
This project built on experience we had gained in the development of
dense linear algebra libraries for distributed data in the Supernode and PUMA projects.
